My focus is on developing our youth to become change agents. I work to seamlessly link educational theory, content, and practice in ways that share and improve their lived experiences. I use the aesthetics of fine arts as a framework for social justice and I teach through the lenses of identity, inquiry, and inclusivity. I design and facilitate curriculum development, professional learning, and art showcases to help create and sustain equitable K-12 spaces. For me, every minute and every life matters.
